Intro to Guitar Class

Has Grandma’s old guitar been gathering dust? Maybe you received one as a gift and just haven’t gotten around to learning to play it yet? Our Intro to Guitar Class is a great opportunity to get started!

The class will be about an hour long and will be held at Whitney Music. Our resident guitar instructor, Christopher Whitney, will show you how to tune the guitar and strum a couple of chords. All you need is a guitar (be sure it has all 6 strings!), a love of music, and a little patience. All ages are welcome, but children under 10 should be accompanied by an adult.

The studio is located in the Beechwold Building on North High Street between Ritzy’s and Beechwold Hardware. Enjoy the off-street parking and look for the door to the stairs behind the stone facade.
