Spring 2026 brings changes and new opportunities for Chris and Annalisa at Whitney Music. For nearly 10 years, we’ve had the privilege of providing lessons, workshops, performances, and more from our studios at the Beechwold Building, 4601 N High St #200 in Columbus, Ohio.

In January, the building was sold, and for a moment we held our breath, wondering if it might be torn down to make way for three-story apartments with ground-level retail (as seems to be the rage nowadays). Thankfully, the new owners have no intention of tearing it down, citing structural integrity far beyond that of most modern construction. The building is undergoing full renovation, and our new landlords have been a pleasure to work with.

Amidst the dust, debris, and some shuffling of spaces, our studio remains open while we put the final touches on our new, rebranded website. Our lessons and quarterly Fearless Performance Workshop continue as usual, and we’re happy to announce the return of our Intro to Guitar Class!

We look forward to continuing to serve our musical community here in the Beechwold Building—and in the Clintonville community—for years to come.
